Dr Shubham Sharma

Dr. Shubham Sharma is a leading name in Pulmonology, renowned across India for his expertise in Lung Transplantation, Interventional Pulmonology, Respiratory Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Sharma has built a strong clinical and academic foundation, complemented by international training including a prestigious Clinical Fellowship in Lung Transplantation at the Medical University of Vienna (2023) and the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (ERS, Madrid, 2019). He completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru (2014), and pursued a DNB in Respiratory Diseases from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi (2018). His clinical journey spans some of India's top institutions, including Yashoda Hospitals (Hyderabad), MGM Hospital (Chennai), Gleneagles Hospital(Bangalore), Fortis Hospitals, CMRI/CK Birla Hospitals (Kolkata), and Narayana Multispeciality Hospital (Jaipur). He currently serves as Consultant, Clinical & Interventional Pulmonology and Respiratory Critical Care at Narayana Hospital, Jaipur. Dr. Sharma specializes in advanced procedures such as EBUS-TBNA, medical thoracoscopy, cryotherapy, and bronchoscopic interventions. He is also proficient in managing ECMO and advanced lung failure, and has played a pivotal role in launching lung transplant and thoracic surgery programs in Eastern India through collaborative models. A passionate educator and researcher, Dr. Sharma regularly contributes to peer-reviewed journals and trains young pulmonologists. He is an active member of the European Respiratory Society, Indian Chest Society, Chest Council of India, and the Indian National Society for Heart and Lung Transplant.
